Warning: New misleading invoice

Over the past few days, EUIPO has become aware that some of our users have been receiving misleading invoices from one particular source.

These invoices contain a logo that is very similar to that of EUIPO and they are addressed from a sender identified as IPO, Intellectual Property Office.

Users are asked to take care before paying invoices and to check that the source is official. Users are also reminded that the Office never sends invoices or letters requesting direct payment for services.

The Office has made available a list of firms or registers that our users have complained of as having sent misleading invoices. Samples of this, and other invoices, can be found in that list.
