The management and staff of the EPO are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrendous incident that occurred in London on 22 March. I express our heartfelt condolences to the victims of this terrible attack. Our thoughts are with their relatives, families and friends in these difficult times. As an international organisation with staff from over 30 nationalities, we firmly believe in the core values of tolerance, openness and equality as pillars of our pluralistic and democratic society in Europe. It is our conviction that such an attack cannot destroy these values.
