EUIPO Sustainability Report – successful implementation of the new GRI standards
In its Strategic Plan 2020, EUIPO clearly stated its commitment to increase transparency and accountability.
The Office has received the Customised Organisational Mark from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for its 2016 Corporate Sustainability at EUIPO report (an annex to the Annual Report 2016), as formal confirmation that the report has undergone and successfully completed the GRI Materiality Disclosure Service.
According to the GRI Disclosure Database, EUIPO is the first public organisation anywhere in the world to publish its Sustainability Report joining other leading private organisations in implementing the new GRI standards.
