    EUIPO visits INAPI Chile

    A EUIPO delegation, headed by the Executive Director António Campinos, is visiting Chile from 22 to 25 January 2018.

    During the visit, EUIPO signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chilean National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI), launching technical cooperation activities between both offices.

    This cooperation will include the integration of INAPI into the Office’s flagship tools.

    During the visit, the EUIPO delegation will also hold discussions with the Chilean national authorities, and meet innovative Chilean businesses and entrepreneurs.

    Cooperation between EUIPO and Chile is being carried out within the context of the Office’s international cooperation strategy (Extension Project), under Line of Action 4 of the Strategic Plan 2020.
