Today, on 1 December, important changes to fee payment
methods have come into force. They are part of our drive towards a fully
digitised patent process.
We will now only accept and process debit orders filed in an
electronically processable format (XML) using one of the following online
payment tools: Online Filing, new online filing (CMS), Online Fee Payment and
ePCT.
The possibility to pay fees via bank transfer remains
unaffected.
Additionally, also as of today, we are offering a new,
web-based, secure and instantaneous method of paying fees by credit card.
