Just a few weeks ago, Qualcomm and Apple settled a massive patent dispute on the eve of a trial. In the run-up to the settlement, Apple had made a really compelling case that Qualcomm’s practices involve blatant abuse of its patents to jack up prices to insane levels and to limit any real competition.
