The IP Law Summer School, held by Informa Connect, is returning and will be held on August 10, 12, 14, 18 and 20. The agenda includes modules on IP fundamentals, but also covers advanced topics, such as standard essential patents and FRAND licensing. On July 8, the UK Intellectual Property Awareness Network and the US Center for Intellectual Property Understanding will hold a Zoom workshop on good practice and practical tips for IP teaching in the online environment. The programme comprises a series of 15 minute presentations on IP teaching and learning with large student groups, vibrant asynchronous/synchronous IP teaching and learning, online assignments and assessment, IP Clinics and IP Awareness. The EPO and the EUIPO are jointly organising an online conference, “Shaping tomorrow: 3D printing and its impact on IP”. The event extends from July 13th to 16th and includes a series of online sessions, with speakers from both Offices, the European Commission, academia and private practice. Vacancies
The University of Vienna has opened two research assistant positions (prae doc), one in the area of private international law or foreign law and the second in the area of international business law. Both contracts are offered for a duration of 4 years and can be combined with PhD studies. The applications are open until July 6.

The Association for Art History 2021 Annual Conference has opened a call for papers. The contributions are expected on a variety of fields, including law. The paper proposal deadline is October 19, 2020. For more information, consult the here and here.
