The staff and management of the European Patent Office are deeply shocked and saddened by the news of the terrible attack which took place in Munich on Friday, 22 July 2016. The management and staff of the EPO express their deepest sympathy to the victims, their families and friends.
As an international organisation with its headquarters in Munich, the European Patent Office is deeply connected to the city. We express our full support and solidarity to the City of Munich, the State of Bavaria, the German Government and all those affected by this tragic event.
